I retired from teaching after 31 years. I wasn't quite sure where God would lead me next. I knew it would surely be something to continue working with children. Little did I know it would be right here in my home church. I feel blessed to be working with children and young adults as we develop and implement a variety of new programs.

On a personal note, I have been married for years. David and I have two married adult children and one grandchild.

I received my degree from Erskine College in elementary education and have added to my education through the years. I am an ordained deacon in our church and have been involved in many of the ministries of the church during my years here. It is a privilege to now be on the staff at Augusta Heights Baptist Church.
