With these words, I greet you on this the first day of April. The year is moving very quickly and it seems there is never enough time. In reflection, I want to say thank you to many who worked hard to bring us through three good months this year. Our Lenten and Holy Week musical presentations by the choir were a blessing to our worship and we express a big thanks to the choir, Donna, Cathy and Dwayne for all their hard work. We are still in the afterglow of Easter and it remains in our hearts and enhances our faith journey each day.
The visit from JOYFUL SOUND on March 30 was a blessing. Thanks to all who worked in preparing food for them and our youth. Robert, Wilma, Ed, Janie, Gene and Dale did a great job of putting together lunch that made for a wonderful day. Many others provided deserts that were enjoyed by all!
We have many talented persons who are willing to use their abilities in ministry. I need to say a word of appreciation to Margie, Fred, Bill, Dave and Robert for the great job of painting and decorating the nursery and preschool department. With new carpet to be installed, the rooms will take on a new, clean and welcoming appearance. I say a big thanks to Jim, Dave and Robert for the painting and cleaning of the pastor’s office. Your work is appreciated!
Your spirit of unity was great on Sunday morning, March 30, as the church family heard the presentation from our church leadership about our renewal hopes for the future
